The Way We Deliver Our Service

Our service is unique in that we provide our care exclusively on a domiciliary basis; we travel to our patients and provide them with the appropriate dental care in their home environment.  We do not provide any aspect of our care from our registered address.

Whereas we recognise that NHS dental care is virtually inaccessible at the moment, we would like to remind our patients that our remit extends only to patients who by virtue of a temporary or permanent mental or physical disability are rendered unable to leave their home.  Typically, our patients would not make leisurely trips, and their GP would visit them in their home environment.  We also extend our services to patients aged over 90.

We cover a large area of Norfolk, and we work in a particular geographic area each day of the week.

Whilst we schedule  appointments in a way that is as logical as possible, the nature of the job is unpredictable, as it is impossible to predict with accuracy how long a particular visit is going to take, or how travel conditions affect our journey time.  Should you wish to be with your relative when we are due to visit, we would be happy to call you with some notice on the day.

We will also prioritise existing patients and emergency cases (infection, pain that cannot be countered by over-the-counter medication and excessive bleeding).

As a result, we may be unable to finish our scheduled list on the day, and may need to re-book some patients in to the next available appointment.  Typically, this would be arranged by the office the day after a missed appointment.

Please bear this in mind when scheduling a visit with us, and only book a visit if you are happy with our way of working.
